Hi there! Thank you for stopping by. My name is Ellie + I am a photographer, storyteller, lover of laughter, Jesus-follower, adventurer and now, author! (Yes, that's me on the sidebar! Cheesin' it up.) If you're new here, I would recommend checking out this post. It explains a bit behind the purpose of this place. 

I love the word "purpose" because it has such an aura of hope. We all have a purpose, a deep rooted desire to make a difference in the world. Even if you haven't thought through how you want to do that, I know, even if I don't know you, that you want to. I know that you want to stick out, find your purpose, be someone that changes something in the world for good. It's part of our human nature.

The name "Unfolding Passions" came from a Sylvia Plath quote I stumbled across one day.

"So many people are shut up tight inside themselves like boxes, yet they would open up, unfolding quite wonderfully, if only you were interested in them."

Here's my theory. There are a whole bunch of young people out there that are talented, beautiful souls, but they are "shut up tight inside themselves like boxes." I am interested in them. I am interested in what they have to offer, because what they have, what you have, is absolutely wonderful and needed in the world today.

This message is really for all ages, but the content has specifically been designed for 16-22 year olds in the creative industry. It's about sharing, caring, and spreading the passion.
